Lateral Police Officer

The City of Mount Washington is seeking applications for a full-time Lateral Police Officer within the Mt. Washington Police Department. The duties include but are not limited to providing professional law enforcement services to the City of Mt. Washington, located in Bullitt County, with an approximate population of 20,000. Salary determined by experience level/service years + $4,300 KLEFPF. Options for health, dental, vision, and retirement plans will be available. All applicants must be able to meet the P.O.P.S set by the Department of Criminal Justice Training, be at least 21 years of age, have no felony convictions, valid drivers license, and high school diploma or equivalent.

Utility II Employee

The City of Mt. Washington is seeking applications for Utility Level II for the Public Works Department. This full-time position will work as a senior level utility worker in the water and sewer department. The employee will be on a rotating on-call basis and is required to be able to respond to emergencies within 15 minutes. The starting pay is $19.10 Insurance, vacation and sick leave, uniforms, and paid holidays will be available. Applicants must pass a drug test and CDL physical. Applicants must also have a CDL and have experience with operating heavy equipment; and water operator’s license is preferred but not required.

Utility Level I Employee

The City of Mt. Washington is seeking applications for Utility Level I for the Public Works Department. This full-time position will work in the water and sewer department. Job duties include, but are not limited to performing general maintenance, installing meters and water mains, repair work, work in or on sewers, pumpstations, and manholes. This position will be on a rotating on-call basis and is required to be able to respond to emergencies within 15 minutes. The starting pay for this position is $17.10. Insurance, vacation and sick leave, uniforms, and paid holidays will be available. Applicants must pass a drug test and CDL physical.
